A GREEN STORY OPENS AT THE LOS ANGELES GREEK FILM FESTIVAL ON MAY 31ST

Feature Film Featuring Ed O’ Ross and upcoming child star, Talia Jackson

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 26, 2012) PR—A cast of talented actors will step out onto the Red Carpet at Hollywood’s famed Egyptian Theatre for the premiere showing of A Green Story, the touching story of terminally ill Van Vlahakis (Ed O’Ross), a Greek immigrant who remembers his arrival in the USA with only 22 dollars in his pocket. The story centers on his amazing transformation, living the American dream after creating Earth Friendly Products, a corporation that becomes revolutionary in distributing environmentally friendly cleaning products. During his fight for life, Vlahakis secures one final business deal that is the deal of a lifetime.

Talia Jackson, the upcoming child star plays Vlahakis’ granddaughter in A Green Story, and will appear on the Red Carpet in style. Discovered by Grammy award-winning producer, David Foster, Jackson has graced the stage with Andrea Bocelli as a guest singer on his Christmas tour. In 2010, she toured again with Bocelli and the Tony award-winner, Heather Headley.

Chosen out of hundreds of girls, Disney Executive Irene Dreayer cast Jackson in a television pilot and described Jackson as the next “Lucille Ball” or “Raven.”

Jackson was cast to play Shannon Elizabeth’s daughter in A Green Story, working along side celebrated actors like: Malcolm Mc Dowell, Annabella Sciorra, Billy Zane, Louis Mandylor and Ed O’Ross.

Jackson’s father was a professional basketball player who had short stretches with the NBA, and her mother (Kelly Jackson) was an international model, and commercial model for Cover Girl Makeup. Her 8-year old brother Armani is also in high demand. With recent roles on ABC’s Man Up last fall and various feature films.

Jackson recently stared in the feature film Awakened, which was written and directed by Marvin Willson, and it is currently in post-production. She is also starring in an ongoing International Disney pilot called, Disney English—a show that teaches English all over the world.
