Pakistan: US Accused of Using Drones to Target Rescue Workers and Funerals

ISLAMABAD, May 26: Suspected drone attacks on restive tribal belt of North Waziristan Agency in Pakistan killed at least four persons on Saturday morning.

It was the third attack on tribal area of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.

According to eye witnesses, two missiles landed on a house, killing four people.

Government of Pakistan has been constantly reminding Washington that these covert attacks on tribal areas are counter productive.

The issue is also the main cause of friction between both countries as Pakistan had been demanding of the US to immediately halt them.

The parliament of Pakistan which has unanimously approved new terms of engagement with US also called for end to drone attacks which were illegitimate and against the sovereignty of country.
