William Friedkin Interview Pt. 1

The Exorcist is one of the best horror films of all time. But it never really had the best follow up. It has had two sequels and two prequels but all of them didn’t live up to the original.

Now, a television series is being developed which may actually be good.

The man developing the series is Sean Durkin who is the writer/director of Martha Marcy May Marlene. He will be developing a ten episode series and he will be endorsing it to studios next week. According to Vulture, the series will not be a copy of William Friedkin’s 1973 classic film. Instead, it will tell the events before and will lead up to the demonic possession and the effects after.

It is still not sure if any network will pick this up but it seems a good idea for a miniseries. For more on this news, go check out Vulture.
