Best dressed at amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS at Cannes

A most impressive and well-heeled list of celebs gathered for the 2012 amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS event during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Hotel Du Cap on May 24, 2012 in Cap D'Antibes, France.

Diane Kruger went the distance and donned a Chanel frock. The short-sleeved white dress with purple detailing is part of the Chanel 2012/2013 Cruise Collection which was recently shown at Chateau de Versailles on May 14, 2012.

The charity gala event auctioned off works of art including a Warhol of Marilyn Monroe.

Former Paris Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld wore a black dress, which she accessorized with stunning hoop earrings and Chanel Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld posing by her side for the photo-op, donned his black aviator sunnies with a well-cut black suit accessorized with a basket-weave leather cummerbund and a filigree brooch – lovely!

Actress Rose McGowan wore a very pretty rose colored dress with bead straps and detailing, featuring a long chiffon train, which she accessorized with dangle earrings.

The dress on Eva Herzigova was unusual with its leather bodice and short chiffon skirt, while Karolina Kurkova looked simply amazing in her sheer gown with gold embroidery, teamed with a gold jacket.

Singer Jessie J wore a burgundy and black cheetah print gown with a hip-high side slit on the right hand side, teamed with black ankle boots. More animal print on model Ana Beatriz Barros, who finessed a tiger print gown!

Another singer, Kylie Minogue, wore a stunning red gown by Emilio Pucci with a deep V-neckline and daring sheer sections, accessorized with a diamond necklace. Natasha Poly too wore a dress with sheer sections…

Singer Janet Jackson looked quite stunning in her white dress with the daring neckline as did actress Julianna Margulies in her lovely black gown.

Kim Kardashian felt compelled to wear a saffron goddess gown but with a daring side slit on the left leg that did not leave much to the imagination – finishing off the look with crimson lipstick!

Kelly Rutherford also wore a goddess style gown – a peach one-shoulder with wrap over side slit, accessorizing with metallic pumps and clutch bag.

Model Doutzen Kroes looked stunning in her white and silver Versace gown, as did Paris Hilton in her unusual white and silver gown – both looking quite statuesque!

Also attending were Kirsten Dunst (in mint green and white), Sky Ferreira (quite the leatherette!), Tamara Ecclestone, Kate Upton (in black and blue!), Victoria Silvstedt (in pale peach), Nicole Murphy (gorgeous gold dress!) and Milla Jovovich (in an extremely futuristic gown!) and Joely Richardson in her striking red V-necked wrapover gown…

And now for the hunks – there were no shortage of them: Adrien Brody, Gerard Butler, Boris Becker (in yummy cream jacket and attending with wife Lily Becker!), Joshua Jackson…
