Sri Lanka have named their Twenty20 and One-Day International squads to take on Pakistan in June.
The Sri Lankan squad for the three-Test series, starting on June 22, will be named later.A release from the Sri Lankan board did not name a captain, but veteran Mahela Jayawardene is expected to remain at the helm.
Kaushal Lokuarachchi and Isuru Udana have been included in Sri Lanka's 14-man Twenty20 squad, while Dilhara Fernando, Nuwan Pradeep, Jeevan Mendis and Rangana Herath have been included in the ODI squad but not in the Twenty20 squad.
Mendis missed the test matches against Australia due to a back injury he sustained in the odi’s but Pakistan have tended to play Mendis pretty well, although with a new look Pakistan side, Mendis would surely have been a valuable asset. Surprisingly Sri Lanka opted for just two spinners, Rangana Herath and Suraj Randiv, going in with 5 pace bowlers on the desert tracks instead.
