That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand thou didst require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.

-- Gen. 31:39 (KJV)

Back in ancient times, there was no such thing as insurance. In this verse, Jacob states that whenever accidents happened, he absorbed the loss. In life, realize that you are responsible for whatever you are given stewardship over.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 4,3,7,1,9. (4) To stay in God's Word, realize that accidents will happen. (3) To stay in the Spirit, learn how to be responsible. (7) To follow after perfection, realize that others demand for you to be responsible. (1) To stay in the anointing, realize that loss will happen from time to time. (9) To overturn evil, realize that loss will happen from time to time.
