Well what do yah know? Another male contestant Philipp Philipps from Georgia takes home the coveted title "American Idol" season 11. The songbird Jessica Sanchez from Calif. blew it and was outvoted.

Guitar-strumming Phillip Phillips is the new American Idol, gaining the crown Wednesday and making it five wins in a row for the guys.
