Lady Gaga - Born This Way

Skooter reporting 05/23/12

The pop diva is as baffled as anyone about whether she will be permitted to perform in the predominantly Muslim Indonesia.

As what happened in the Philippines the other day, Islamic hard-liners have protested and threatened violence, saying her immoral clothes and provocative dance moves could corrupt youth. Initially Police refused to issue a permit for the "Born This Way Ball" but are now insinuating the concert could go ahead if the Lady Gaga toned down the show.

Lady Gaga tweeted Tuesday that the Jakarta situation is 2-fold and that Indonesian officials demand she censor the show, while religious extremist are threatening violence. If the concert does go on as slated, she will perform the BTWBall alone.

It was not clear what she meant and her promoters have no comment. The gig was supposed to be the biggest show on Lady Gaga’s Asian tour.
