Metta World Peace Elbows James Harden Oklahoma City Thunder at LA Lakers

Despite of being eliminated in Western Conference Semifinal on Monday night, Kobe Bryant is not giving up. He will be there someday saying, “Come hell or high water, we’re going to be there again.”

“It’s kind of unfamiliar territory,” Bryant said after midnight and after the Thunder beat the Lakers 106-90 on Monday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena and 4-1 in the series. “I’m really not used to it. It’s pretty odd for me. I’m not the most patient of people and the organization’s not extremely patient either. We want to win and win now. I’m sure we’ll figure it out. We always have and I’m sure we will again.”

Kobe scored 42 points but the Lakers lost Game 5 in the home court of Oklahoma City Thunder. Every now and then, fans wearing blues booing Lakers team. Pau Gasol added 14 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks while Metta World Peace scored 11 and Bynum 10.

During the second quarter of the game Metta World Peace was called for a flagrant foul after making hard contact with Thabo Sefolosha of Thunder.

World Peace stopped Sefolosha from his lay up and he fell on the ground. The official saw World Peace's elbow behind so they called him a flagrant foul.

Oklahoma City Thunder was in the right place. A back-to-back bucket from Russell Westbrook who scored 28 points, Kevin Durant with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

"We know that's the most important time of the game, especially in a tight game," Durant said. "I think that we kept our composure throughout the fourth, and our poise and we made plays."

Players with technical fouls were Metta World Peace, Kobe Bryant and Russell Westbrook.

Thunder next game will be on Sunday against San Antonio Spurs.
