A passenger train accident in Anantapur on the southern part of India on Tuesday dawn kills 15 people and 70 people injured.
The passenger train rammed into a cargo train that results to collision and fire. Many passengers are trapped inside the train when the fire starts that burned to death the eight people. The injured passengers where taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The freight train had been stopped at the station near Penukonda when the Hampi Express slammed into it. Four coaches of the passenger train derailed when the driver applied emergency brakes on seeing the freight train on the same track.The Hampi Express was headed for the southern city of Bangalore when the crash took place. Penukonda is about 170 kilometers (105 miles) north of Bangalore.
Burned bodies wasn't revealed yet the identity and still on going for forensic test. Runway officials cited the cause of accident is due to faulty signal or caused by a train driver error.
