During the Moscow premiere of “Men in Black 3” on Friday, got upset when a Ukrainian reporter tried to kiss the actor on his lips. Smith slapped the reporter and pushed him away.
In a footage obtained by TMZ, Will can be seen getting really pissed off when a reporter tries to get all smoochy with the actor while he is on the red carpet for the premiere of his new film. The reporter, identified as Vitalii Sediuk, who works for Ukranian Television Channel 1+1, first kissed Will on both cheeks and then aimed for his lips. A source present at the scene told TMZ that the reporter’s mouth lightly brushed Smith’s as he showed his affection towards the actor.
“Come on man, what the hell is your problem,” Smith said as he pushed back Sediuk and lightly hit the back of his hand across his face. "This joker, he's lucky I didn't sucker punch him," Smith said to the crowd of journalists and fans. "Oh, I said that on camera. It's all good." The source said that Sediuk is known for pulling off similar stunts with other celebrities too and it’s his way of making headlines.
Last September, Sediuk gave Madonna a bouquet of purple hydrangeas, calling her “my princess”. rejected the flowers rather ungraciously in Venice, saying that she “absolutely loathes hydrangeas.” She put them away under the table before beginning her press conference. Later, the singer made a short video, calling it “Madonna’s love letter to hydrangeas”. The video starts with a sarcastic apology to the reporter and ends with subtitles that read, “I’m left with the feeling that I still hate hydrangeas.” Sediuk later forgave the pop star for her rudeness, as she was basically asking for an apology.
Smith was even less charmed by Sediuk’s newest prank, but despite the incident and his temporary loss of temper, he stayed positive throughout the event and continued to give interviews to reporters and autographs to fans.
Smith retakes his role as Agent J in “Men in Black 3”. The movie is slated to hit the big screens on May 25th. Currently, he has several movies going in production and well over a dozen in development including sequels of “I Robot”, “Bad Boys” and “Independence day”.
