Musician Chuck Brown, who made up the term 'go-go' music. Go Go music is a combination of soul, Latin and Funk.

Brown has died of pneumonia at age 75, at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore.

This kind of music is associated with Washington D.C.

Mayor of Washington D.C. Vincent Gray said its going to be a different place since he died.

In 2007, to the Associated Press said, he said he got the inspiration for go go music for go go music by the fast beats and sounds he heard in his young life and when he was a member of a Latin band.

Brown said, "Go-go music continues on and on, and on and it's a call-and-response communication with the audience.
