The Washington envoy’s message resounded Thursday far outside the closed meeting and at the same time hoping that it will not have to resort to military force.
Shapiro said that they do believe there is time. Some time, not an unlimited amount of time, but at a certain point, they may have to make a decision that the diplomacy will not work.
Top nuclear negotiatorwarned against Western pressure at next week's meeting, which summarizes the negotiations in Istanbul last month that all sides acclaimed as positive.
In comments broadcast on Iranian state TV, Jalili said that cooperation is what they can talk about in Baghdad. He was quoted as saying, "Some say time is running out for the talks, but I say time for the (West's) pressure strategy is running out.”
