Bodies dumped in Drug War in Mexico and hypocrisy by anti-gay advocate

In the city of Boca del Rio, Veracruz, Mexico, 35 dead bodies were dumped on a street. Some had their hands tied and some were tortured to death. Do I have to even ask if the first thing that came to your mind, this was because of drug violence? How many nanoseconds after you read this, did you come to the conclusion that this was drug violence? If like most people, it didn't take that long.

Obviously this is drug violence, and this wasn't the first and it won't be the last case of drug killings in Mexico. Or Colombia, or a host of other nations where there is a production of illegal drugs, that will be sent to the U.S.

Indeed, many Latin American nations have leaders considering legalizing drugs, either partially or completely. This shouldn't be too shocking, prostitution is legal in many Latin American nations, but we in the U.S. continue to furnish an underground prostitution market with our Puritan anti-sex laws. The same people who are the biggest supporters of anti-sex laws, are also the biggest supporters of the drug war.

Speaking of anti-sex advocates, you ever heard of Bill Donahue? He desires to speak for the Catholic church, but he has no more an official position in that church than I do. He is one of the biggest apologists and defenders of sexual abuse in the Catholic church. He defends it with a passion, as if someone was accusing him of doing those deeds.

Well, he is also strongly anti-gay. In fact, he opposes marriage equality for gays and lesbians, supposedly for the sake of children. This is even though studies show gay couples do just as well raising children as non-gay couples.

I am just amazed at the hypocrisy of someone to make out sexual abuse in the Catholic church as no real big deal, but than oppose the right and ability of children of gay couples, to see their parents marry.

By the way, if you want to support an end to the drug war and you want to support marriage equality, please check out those links.
