Every quarter Singapore hosts an I.T. and consumer tech exhibition and the third one for this year is COMEX. It started last thursday, Aug. 28, and I was able to check out the show yesterday. It's being held at the Suntec City Convention center and with 5 floors (330,000 sq ft) of exhibit space the show is pretty massive. There are about 800+ exhibitors, ranging from industry giants like Sony (who always covers the entire 2nd floor and still has some booths for the other floors), Dell and HP to mom and pop businesses that usually show up at the topmost floor. And as expected Singaporeans flocked to see the latest gizmos and best deals available. Events like COMEX usually generate around 20 to 50 million dollars in sales.
Details for the show are as follows:
Venue: Suntec City Convention Centre
Area: Levels 1,2,3,4 and 6
Dates: 28-31 August
Opening Hours: 12pm to 9pm daily
Admission Ticket: Free
So you have until tomorrow to check it out and I highly suggest that you do. Dont forget to bring cash or nets since some booths dont accept credit cards.
HAPPY SHOPPING!!
