Three men arrested in Vicksburg accused of kidnapping and robbery

Vicksburg Mississippi. Vicksburg police on Thursday have arrested three men who are accused of kidnapping and stealing from two women from Monroe Louisiana on Sunday at the Waffle House restaurant on Sunday.

Vicksburg police spokewoman Lt. Sandra Williams said the United States Marshal's Office arrested on Thursday Felix Howard of Pearl Mississippi, Perry McAbee and Cedric Akite both of Jackson Mississippi.

Williams said the three men allegedly forced the two women who were not named in the news report into a vehicle outside of the Waffle House restaurant and stole their purses. The women were released unharmed hours later.

Williams said the two women had gone to the restaurant to meet two men they exchanged telephone numbers when they are at a casino. Williams said a third man pulled out a handgun and forced the women into the vehicle.
