Bible Verse of the Day
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
What istrying to tell us here? Is He trying to condemn us as being evil? No that is no where near the point of this passage. He is trying to reset our thinking on how we view the Father and the Father’s heart towards us. He says even though we are flawed through our past, woundedness, current circumstance, etc… our hearts are full of love for our children, then how much more is God as the Father able to shower us with gifts without any lack of clarity?
Jesus tells us look the Father is crazy about you, He desires to do wonderful things for you (and He already is if we stop and look deeply at our lives). He desires deep intimate relationship, he is looking for you will you open your eyes to see Him? Will you open your heart to receive Him? Will you let yourself trust Him?
The deepest answers in our lives can only be answered we knock and enter into relationship in Him, we find our true identity only when we seek it with Him. The world, others the enemy , will steer you to wrong conclusions, but the Father is trying to speak loving words of truth and healing into our inner most being.
Will you let Him? Will you believe Him?
Take time to seek Him today.
Have a blessed day,
