Forbes recently published the list of top 100 rich and famous celebrities for 2012, which includes film and television actors, TV personalities, models, athletes, authors, musicians, and comedians. And guess whymade it to the top rank.
The 42-year old singer and superstar reportedly earned a total of $52 million in 12 months from her endorsement deals and a $20 million dollar deal for being a judge on “American Idol.” Lopez has also her own line of clothing and a top selling fragrance.
In terms of popularity, the mother of twins got 6.6 million followers in Twitter and 12 million fans in Facebook.
Second on the list is none other than Oprah Winfrey. The unbeatable talk show host may not be earning from her OWN cable network but she still managed to earn $165 million from her empire of spin-off shows, her magazine and radio deal.
Justin Bieber came third on the list. The 18-year old star earned $55 million from his concert tours and record sales. The “Boyfriend” singer is also a budding venture capitalist.
First timeris number four on the list. She earned a lot from her endorsement deals, her fragrance and hit albums.
Pop star, who dominates the list last year slid to no. 5. From $90 million of earnings in 2011, it dropped to $52 million this year.
