While there are a rare few, who have the privilege of being adored by millions like the statuesque Duchess of Cambridge, there is always a flip side to fame.
The negative aspect of life has only recently hit Duchess Kate, the former, especially the darker side of Royal life.
Just last week the 30-year-old Duchess much to her chagrin discovered that she has been made the victim of a sick vilification campaign launched by internet trolls and royal baiters.
There has been this unrelenting vicious abuse let loose against the down-to-earth Duchess. Insensitive bullies have gone so far as to brand Kate Middleton as 'anorexic', 'ugly', and 'gold-digger.'
In some extreme cases even ruthlessly speculating on whether Kate Middleton is capable of siring a royal heir. The nasty comments began after a new book on royals disclosed hitherto little known details on Kate’s early relationship with then boyfriend and now husband, Prince William.
The revelations made therein have raised the ire of some royal skeptics, who believe that instead of William and Kate’s fairytale romance developing naturally, the latter with her mother schemed to trap her prince right from the beginning.
All this loose talk has reached Kate Middleton’s ears and has naturally upset her no end. According to Now Royal sources, the maligned Duchess of Cambridge is 'distraught' at all the gossip about her.
One Royal insider says 'Kate's always had a fear she wouldn't be accepted by the public …. She doesn't understand why people would say damaging things and doesn't like the thought of people hating her.”
Hearing people say anything awful about her in the past, the simple hearted Duchess' first query in disbelief would be: "Why do people hate me?"
The royal insider says that while her husband has helped her confidence to grow, despite that ‘she still worries - and cares about - what people think of her.'
One of the Kate haters Morenita Luz has this to say about the Duchess’ dilemma. “It's called freedom of expression. If people are allowed to adore her and rave about her, others are allowed to dislike the lazy boring social climber that she is.
"I do not find her attractive and do not drink the kool aid the media shoves down our throat everyday. Not a fan of hers. Simple as that,” adds the Kate baiter.
Meanwhile, one of Kate's ardent admirers Stephanie Champion Helton, has this to say in the Duchess' defense: “I think Kate is beautiful and embodies ladylike grace that is missing in today's society. She dresses with class and handles herself as a lady should.”
“Unfortunately there are always going to be people that always have something nasty to say now matter where you work, etc. You just have to learn how to turn it off. … Everyone can speculate, however, only Kate knows what is best for her. I think she looks great! I wish the haters would get a hobby and leave her alone!,” defends Helton staunchly.
