Pascal Bafyau, former NLC leader is dead

Comrade Pascal Bafyau, former leader of the Nigeria Labour Congress died this morning in Abuja from allege complication arising heart attack.

Our reporter learnt that Bafyau, who was until his death was also a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party at the federal level, was admitted a number of times at the National Hospital in Abuja for urgent medical attention.

He was also treated and discharged at various private hospitals within and outside Abuja.

He is said to have died this Wednesday morning after medical personnel battled for hours to save him from the claws of death.

The departed comrade joined politics in 1994 after serving the country via NLC in various capacities for more than a decade.
