Millions of americans and canadians out of work...but are they really looking. A 30 year old male with a grade 12 education is never out of work for more than 2 weeks on average. You have to get out there use the resources that are there.

Don't focus to much on resumes and cover letters of course the so called experts want you to focus on these things because it keeps them in a job. If a chicken farmer was asked what is better beef or chicken what do you think they would say. The employer needs you just as much as you need a job, they want someone different.

Give them different send them a resume and back it up. Tell them why they should hire you call and show up you are your resume. Resumes are written by others this makes no sense to me it should be illegal for someone else to write your resume, it is yours. If you write a test for your drivers licence it is to be written by you and you alone it should be the same.

So get out there and look online with sites like www.kijiji.ca google searches even cold calls to employers that need your skill set, set yourself apart from the pack.
