I got pregnant and married at the age of 20. On my 22 years old I have 2 sons. It was so hard to find job if you are married so I decided to put on my Single Status on my resume and Gotcha!! Dunkin Donuts hired me as one of their counter staff but of course on a contractual basis for 5 months.
Next, I was hired as a service crew in Chinese fast food serving dimsums and Noodles under an agencies on re hiring basis but its alright as long I have a monthly salary for the needs of my family. At the age of 28, I decided to finish my studies in college because I knew that being a service crew is not a lifetime career bec. that is intended for ages 17 to 25 yrs of age. Being a mom,a student and a fast food crew was very hard but I always reminded my self not to give up for the sake of family's own good. On my 2nd year in college my husband decided to break our marriage bec. he felt that I had no time for him and of course I kew that its only a reason because he had a third party. In short we got separated and I shouldered all the obligations for my kids. a very painful experienced as a woman. But of course, life must go on with the help of my family I was able to finish my study but on my last sem of 4th year I was diagnosed to have a malignant cancer for a molar digestion on my uterus, another painful experienced becauce I have no any savings for my medication. My 2 OFW brothers decided to contribute for my clinical operation and thanks God, I am now on my way on a fully recovery. I joined the march for my graduation last May 11,2012 and by next month I can able to go to work again. Thank you so much to my family, friends, classmates and Professors for their financial supports and prayers.. I love you all!!
