The Los Angeles Lakers vs Oklahoma Thunder are all set for Game 1 of the second round NBA Playoff at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. Check this page later for Lakers vs Thunder Live Score updates.

Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace return energized the Lakers lineup to help the Los Angeles Lakers survive a first-round playoff scare and advance with a thrilling Game 7 victory against the Denver Nuggets. World Peace just returned from a seven-game suspension after he elbowed James Harden of Thunder in a game before the start of NBA playoff. The Lakers vs Thunder playoff rivalry has even more intensified after Artest-Harden incident.

Another anticipated matchup will be the starting center of both teams other than Kendrick Perkins vs Andrew Bynum. Lakers coach Mike Brown was disappointed with the play of Lakers big men Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol who was held to few points in Game 6 of the Nuggets series. Certainly, Brown will urged them Bynum and Gasol to be more assertive in tonights game against the Thunder.

Kendrick Perkins went through Oklahoma City Sunday practice after straining a muscle in his right hip in a Game 4 victory against Dallas about a week ago. Both Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant will try to lead their team to the Western Conference Championship and only one team will do it. Although Durant and Westbrook proved to be the most dominant in the NBA today.
