Philippines: 11 dead as bus falls down the cliff.

11 people were killed and 10 injured when a bus fell down the cliffin the northern Philippines, police said on 14-5. The bus is said to be overloaded.

13-5 pm accident happened, the scene near the capital town of Bontoc 275km north of Manila. According to local police, thejeepney (public vehicle popular in the Philippines) wasoverloaded - nearly 30 people - so some passengers had to climb the roof to sit.

The incident began when the car climbed the steep rugged path, a bag of passengers crashed. The vehicle driver must stop topick it up, but the car lost control and rolled back until it stops at a depth of 150m cliffs, a rear wheel has deviated from the path.

The passengers sitting on the roof panic although the driver tried to reassure them. Passengers jumped from the car that crashedin the car. Seven people died on the spot.
