A 28-year old dead waiter comes alive in Egypt

28-year old Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi, a waiter in Luxor, Egypt reportedly suffered a stroke while at work and the doctor pronounced him dead.

His body was brought to his residence in village of Naga al-Simman in the southern province of Luxor, and the grieving relatives for the funeral. Among them was his mother who was inconsolable.

However, when the doctor came to issue the death certificate, she discovered his body to still be warm. And then she realized that he was not dead.

All of a sudden, the mood changed and the funeral gathering turned into one of celebrations.

His mother had fainted on hearing the good news but, others quickly nursed her back to normal to join in the celebrations.
