was a natural in front of the camera during a visit to a BBC studio in Glasgow today.
Charles and Camilla were visiting the studios to mark the 60-year anniversary of BBC TV Scotland. when,Sally Magnusson announced: “I am delighted to say we have a new member of the weather team, Your Highness.”
The Prince of Wales read out the lunchtime weather spot with a confident manner, gesticulating and cracking jokes.
Throughout his report, the BBC's weather map continually added in royal residences in Scotland, including the Balmoral Castle and the Castle of Mey. As the report went on, Prince Charles also loosened up a bit, improvising a few quips of his own.
When he spoke of “the potential for a few flurries over Balmoral”, he ad-libbed: “Who the hell wrote this script?”
Camilla then read the same forecast in the studio, but appeared to lack her husband’s enthusiasm for the task.
