The hairstylist, Vidal Sassoon, who become an international name in hair care and who unwrapped the beehive with his wash-and-wear cuts, died Wednesday. He was 84.
He died at his home on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles. Police were summoned to the home where they found Sassoon dead He died of natural causes, spokesman Kevin Mailberger said. There will be no further police investigation, he added.
Sassoon was married four times, and had four children with his second wife, Beverly, an on and off film and television actress with a screen name Beverly Adams.
