This week on “America’s Best Dance Crew” the six remaining crews must perform to the music of Latin pop sensation and “American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer’s own choreographer – Casper Smart - stops by to give the crews a hand with their challenges. The crews are challenged to highlight a defining moment from Jennifer’s career in their routines.

On last week’s show Angel revealed that her mother’s condition had taken a turn for the worse; the day after the show Angel’s mother lost her battle with cancer. The girls of 8 Flavahz is one member down this week as Angel is with her family. The girls performed a routine that included some Salsa moves and trumpets to “Let’s Get Loud”. Lil Mama said the girls had fun, worked it, and shined in their routine. D-Trix said the girls get better every week and it was their best performance yet. D-Trix said the girls were amazing, a choreographer’s dream with brilliant moves. JC was proud of what the girls had done; saying they represented their crew very well.

The dance teachers of Mos Wanted Crew had to perform part of their challenge on the floor as they danced to “On the Floor”. D-Trix said the crew took the challenge and killed it; adding that they made Jennifer’s choreography look manly. JC said there was a lot to like in the performance; but noted a couple of the dancers were thinking too much. Lil Mama was mesmerized by Ian; noting that the crew had grown, were sexy men, and she enjoyed the performance.

The last safe crew of the week was Elektrolytes who had to use cane props and form a moving subway car in their routine to “Get it Right”. JC noted that each week the crew added another dimension. Lil Mama noted that the crew really did their homework and made her feel at home in NYC. D-Trix said the routine had choreography, comedy, stunts, gret moments and storytelling; all elements for being “America’s Best Dance Crew”. D-Trix called it a great performance; adding that Ben stole the show.

For a second week Fanny Pak found themselves in the bottom three; they were joined by Collizion Crew, and Rated Next Generation. After a battle round two of the groups would be safe but one of them would be eliminated.

First up was Collizion Crew with a performance to Jennifer’s first hit “Jenny from the Block”. JC said that he has been a fan and liked the energy and charisma of the crew on stage; JC added that it was a good performance.

Rated Next Generation had to perform dance moves that were popular before they were born when they added 90’s Fly Girl moves when they danced to “Do it Well”. D-Trix said it was an absolutely amazing performance – the best performance from the crew this season; adding that it brought back memories. Host Mario Lopez was showing off some of the moves as D-Trix talked.

The last performance of the night was from Fanny Pak who had to make a quick costume change and a lift into their routine to “Waiting for Tonight”. Lil Mama said the crew tells a story very well, are innovative, and took their performance to another level. Lil Mama called the routine from robot to rainbow.

After the judges deliberation Rated Next Generation and Fanny Pak were safe but the southern boys of Collizion Crew were eliminated.

Next week the five crews will take on the music of Latin Hip-Hop star Pitbull – who will also make an appearance on the show. The Iconc Boyz from last season make a return visit to the dance floor to perform.
