Then Jacob rose up, and set his sons and wives upon camels;

-- Gen. 31:17 (KJV)

For Jacob to better the lives of himself and his family, he had to get up and move. Second, he had to establish the direction in which his wives and his children were going to move.

In any household, the man must initiate progress within the family structure. That progress then propels the rest of his family forward. Many children from single-mother homes fail in life because they never was given the motivation to progress from their fathers.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 4, 8, 3, 1, 7. (4) To stay in God's Word, rise up. (8) To have a new beginning in God, establish a state of mind of progress within your family. (3) To stay in the Spirit, establish a state of mind of progress within your family. (1) To stay in the anointing, establish a state of mind of progress within your family. (7) To be complete, establish a state of mind of progress within your family.
