
The FBI has positively confirmed the identies of the two bodies found buried in the backyard of a man in north Mississippi, they believe may have something to do with their deaths and the disappearance of two children on Monday.
The bodies were discovered late last week and positively identified as Jo Ann Bain and her 14-year-old daughter Adrienne Bain.The FBI did not say how the two died.
The Hardeman County Sheriff's Department met with Mayes for questioning regarding Jodi and her daughters disappearance. It wasn't till Tuesday before the authorities realized that Mayes had given them false information. The FBI said it believed the other daughters — 12-year-old Alexandria and 8-year-old Kyliyah — were still with Mayes.

Mayes is now known to have been the handyman and babysitter for the Bain family and also the ex-brother-in-law of Gary Bain, Jodi's husband.Both Gary Bain and Mayes were once married to sisters.
Mayes,had stayed over at the family's house to help them pack and load a U-Haul to drive across the country to Arizona,
Linda Kirkland,a family friend said ,Sunday that the woman and her daughters were moving to Arizona because two of the girls had asthma. Other than dealing with a recent death in the family, Bain, who had frequented the restaurant, never indicated anything was wrong.
