The reactions to the election of Francois Holland didn't have long to wait Sunday evening among the political leaders of the world. In Belgium the Belgian socialist prime minister, Elio di Rupo, paid tribute to "a friend who becomes president of the Republic" by celebrating in Paris the victory of François Holland, whose economic proposals will according to him having a "positive impact" in Europe.
