Here is a shocking, disturbing and unimaginable news from the People’s Republic of China. I don’t know what basis have these Chinese people to say that a capsule made out of powdered baby flesh could cure some diseases.

It is not known where the dead babies came from or who made it. South Korean custom officials said the dead babies were chopped into pieces before being dried in stove and turned into powder.

About 17,450 capsules are smuggled from China in 35 shipments since August via mail and carried in luggage by the ethnic Koreans from northeastern china and now residing in South Korea. Reportedly, they intended to use these capsules, which are suspected to have originated from Jilin province and share it with their fellows.

Smugglers said they have no knowledge about the capsules and believed that they are stamina boosters. But authorities confirmed that it contains dangerous bacteria and other unspecified ingredients which are not safe for consumption.

This incident however is citing diplomatic friction between China and South Korea. The Chinese government is now investigating the production of such capsules. So far, the smugglers weren’t punished as the amount of flesh in the capsules were too small and were not intended for sale, reports Associated Press.

In 2010, a horrifying news broke in China, where female babies grow breasts after drinking milk laced with hormones. The tainted milk was allegedly produced by Synutra company and was sold in the Hubei provincial capital, Wuhan and in Beijing.

Four years ago, a Chinese milk scandal where melamine was illegally added in the production of the baby formula had caused fury among parents. About six babies were killed and more than 300,000 made ill.

Melamine is used in the production of plastic products and if added to food, it will indicate a higher level of protein content that can cause kidney stone and kidney failure.
