US hostage Weinstein

Al-Qaeda's media arm, as-Sahab, released a video showing American hostage Warren Weinstein telling President Obama to answer al-Qaeda's demands or he will be killed.

According to the US monitoring service SITE the 2 minute, 40 second video was posted on jihadist forums on May 6, 2012.

"My life is in your hands, Mr. President. If you accept the demands, I live; if you don't accept the demands, then I die," it quoted Weinstein as saying in the video, which was posted on Islamist websites on Sunday.

If Obama agrees to the demands, "then I will live and hopefully rejoin my family and also enjoy my children, my two daughters, like you enjoy your two daughters," says Weinstein, assuring his wife that he is "being taken care of" and is getting all the medications he needs.

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri said in an audio recording in December that the group was responsible for Weinstein's abduction and demanded the release of all those in U.S. detention for ties his Islamist militant group or the Taliban.

The demand include release of Bin Ladin family in Pakistan(were deported from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia last month),end of air strike by US on millitants in Afghanistan,Yamen,Somalia,Gaza, and release of "Blind Shaikh"Omar Abdul rahman,Ramzi Yousuf and Sayyid Nosair ,jailed in US for bombing World Trade Centre in 1993.

70-years old ,Weinstein was abducted by a group of gunmen tricked their way into his Lahore home in last August , days before he was due to return to the United States.

When I was posting this news ,my heart was crying for Warren Weinstein and his family. To kidnap an innocent,70 years old man to demand from US army and Obama ,it is not Islam or Jihad. If Al-Qaeda is so true go and fight in Afghanistan against US army.Allah forbid us from wrong doing and keep Islam safe from wrong hands and lunatics.
