Thailand factory explosion, 12 people died.

On 6.5, Thai Prime Minister Shinawatra to Yingluck Rayong Province, 179 km from Bangkok to the southeast, to visit thevictims of the explosion a day earlier.

A petrochemical plant of Map Ta Phut industrial zone at least 12 people were killed and 129 wounded. After three largeexplosions, most of the factory was on fire during the darkcolumns of smoke spiraling up sources of high loading.

Firefighters took more than 4 hours to control the fire.

Authorities said most victims were workers of the plant above.Surrounding residential and industrial zones to be evacuatedbecause the government fears the toxic chemicals diffuse into the air.

Leaching of chemicals and hot weather is the main cause of the explosion
