The Pentagon authorities are investigating the death of an army officer and serving as chief nurse in Afghanistan, who died while video chatting with his wife via skype on Monday. Details of the army’s death were not yet disclosed.

The 43-year old Capt. Bruce Kevin Clark from Spencerport, N.Y., was deployed in Afghanistan on March, according to the Associated Press. The delayed release of the cause of his death was being questioned by many.

"We are entrusting the military with investigating and with finding out what happened to Capt. Clark," Bradley Taber-Thomas, a Pentagon officer told AP news. His body was returned to Dover Air Force Base on Thursday.
