US employment level reaches lowest in 30 years! Will Obama make it in his re-election?

A very surprising figure, for me atleast, has emerged on the scene saying that the percentage of working people in USA plus the ones who are looking for work has fallen to the lowest level in the previous 30 years.

This brings us to an ultimate question, is President Barack Obama going to make it through in his re-election?? Can he be trusted again with the economy??

Definitely the above mentioned gloomy economic figure isn't of any help for Obama. Infact it is a blow to his election campaign which can be badly affected.

Furthermore a lot of discouraged workers gave up hope and left the labour force in April which deteriorated the situation and caused the unemployment rate to drop to 8.1 per cent.

Nearly 115,000 jobs were added which is the lowest number since a slow economic recovery began last August.Meanwhile 342,000 got unemployed.

Mitt Romney, a Republican nominee who is campaigning in Pennsylvania today and thinks Obama cannot be trusted again, told Fox News:

'Well, we should be seeing numbers in the 500,000 jobs created per month,’

'This is way, way, way off from what should happen in a normal recovery. The reason that you’re seeing the unemployment rate go down is because you have more people dropping out of the workforce than you have getting jobs. '

‘It’s a terrible and very disappointing report this morning. Clearly the American people are wondering why this recovery isn’t happening faster, why it’s taking years and years for the recovery to occur and we seem to be slowing down, not speeding up. '

Speaking at Arlington, Virginia, today, Obama said:

'This morning we learned that our private sector created 130,000 jobs in April, and the unemployment rate ticked down’,
