Being bisexual is still “meaningful” towho may be married to her "True Blood" co-star Stephen Moyer and have a baby on the way.
Paquin became fame when she came out in 2010 in a public service announcement called “Give a Damn,” which co-stars, , and .
Paquin announces that she is bisexual, condemns hate crimes and she does not at all be apologetic doing the PSA, even though her admission caused a media hellhole.
She told Zooey magazine in a recent interview saying that for some people admitting they’re bisexuals feels less scary than declaring that they’re gay. For her it’s not really an issue because she’s someone who believes being bisexual is actually a thing. She further said that for a bisexual, it’s not made up, it’s not a lack of decision, it’s not being greedy and it’s not about gender. That’s not the deciding issue for who they’re attracted to.
Though she was willing to share this publicly, she prefers to keep most of her private life very quiet.
"I think it’s important to have things that are just for you and people that are closest to you," she tells the magazine. "Some people share absolutely everything, but then what do you have left that’s yours? It diminishes what’s really special in your life."
