American rapper Adam Nathaniel Yauch is no more; the famous hip hop trio Beastie Boys’ founding member dies at the age 47 years. Various reports suggested that the cause of Adam’s death was not known however, the songwriter had long been struggling with cancer.
It was in the year 2009 when the rapper was told he had cancer; he was diagnosed with a cancerous parotid gland thus had required treatment. Further, Adam had to undergo a lymph node surgery as well as radiation therapy. As advised rather recommended by his Tibetan doctors, Adam became a vegan until his death on May 4, 2012.
The extremely popular Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame trio comprised of Adam Yauch (a.k.a. MCA), Mike D (Michael Diamond) and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz). They respectively played as Vocals and Bass, Vocals and Drums and Vocals – Guitar.(Michael Schwartz) was the trio’s turntablist.
The news of Adam’s death on Friday came through GlobalGrind web site, announcing that that the rapper’s lengthy battle with cancer was over. The website is run by, the co-founder of Def Jam Records. The website wrote that Adam Yauch (MCA) has passed away in the morning, describing him as one of their heroes.
