Utah woman stumbles upon a cache of cocaine in a store

39-year old Cindy Davidson of Utah had purchased a box of discount tampons from a Salt Lake city store and, was struck dumb when she unwrapped the package.

Instead of the white cotton tampons, out tumbled packets of a white powdery stuff as reported in mailonline of 4th of May 2012.

The bargain store, NPS, from where she had bought the tampons usually sells damaged freight goods and unclaimed property at a steep discount and, like any other housewife, she wanted to avail of the discounts.

She was not aware of what the substance was. The stuff had been packed in plastic wrappers and, she panicked – she presumed it to be some sort of terror attack. So – she called the police.

It appears to be a major drug smuggling racket and the police have seized all the boxes of tampons and begun a full-scale investigation.

This must be the tip of the iceberg and must have been going on for ages.
