Supporting the Supreme Court decision against the contempt of court of Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Ghillani, Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) would hold solidarity walk with judiciary on May 06 in Islamabad. Provincial President of PTI, Asad Qaiser said this during a press conference at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Thursday. “We condemn protest rallies and demonstrations of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), which exposed vision of the party about the apex court,” he said. He said all the organizations of PTI Khyber Pakhtnkhwa including women wing would participate in solidarity walk and appealed people from every walk of life to back judiciary and make sure their participation in the scheduled. “If opposition parties are serious to step down the PPP-led, they should resign from assembly because present government has no justification to rule further,” Mr Asad said adding the premier had been convicted by the Supreme Court and now he is disqualified. “Pakistan is running without Prime Minister,” he said. Accompanied by Shukat Yousafzai, Javed Afridi, Ishtiyaq Barqi, Shah Farman, Qamar Zaman and other office bearers of the party, he added there would be unrest among the masses till the presence of present rulers, saying that President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were now illegal. The PM, he said had violated the Supreme Court decisions and after violating the SC verdict the PM had no rights to remain on the premiership. Replying to a query, he said that they had the rights to hold solidarity rallies and demonstrations and if law enforcement agencies tried to put hurdles in way of PTI solidarity, they would resist and offer arrestments. The Pakistani nation, he maintained had rendered sacrifices for the reinstatement of judiciary in the past who he added would also support the PTI rally for the sake of judiciary. He said that people had fed up from policies of the present government and wanted a change in present set up, which he added would bring PTI Chairman Imran Khan while the masses had the only option of PTI. He said that PTI had arranged public gatherings in different parts of the country including Quetta, Karachi, Peshawar, adding that PTI was the only party which could observe public meeting in any turbulent location across the country and challenged all the political parties to organize pubic gathering in Quetta city of Baluchistan province as their party had organized.
