Eat Stop Eat is a weight loss diet, created by Brad Pilon. He is a nutritionist with several years of experience in the weight loss industry. His weight loss program is based on scientific research of fasting and its effect on human metabolism.

The author promises that by combining effects of short periods of fasting and weight training you can expect to see dramatic weight loss results. Opposite to the common belief, flexible fasting will not slow down your metabolism. Instead, the Eat Stop Eat program works by increasing the level of fat burning hormones, which actually accelerates weight loss.

The Eat Stop Eat Program places focus on weight training, in addition to intermittent fasting. The intermittent fasting requires you to choose one or two days weekly where you will restrict yourself to a strict diet made up solely of liquids. For the remainder of the week, you are allowed to revert to your regular meal plan.

Additionally, you will be required to reduce the amount of calories that you consume on a daily basis. Eat Stop Eat Book teaches you how to create your own eating style that will allow you to eat less than what you would normally consume.
