Hello Kitty expands its existence as it goes to air this time.
A Taiwan air carrier Eva Air has features the Hello Kitty on their designs on plane as well on the menu. Hello Kitty themed EVA AIR has taken over the skies as part of their marketing move.
Last year, Eva Air launched three Hello Kitty flights to some of its Asian destinations to attract tourists. Many squirmed (mostly men) at the thought of riding a Hello Kittyairplane and dining on Hello Kitty inflight wares. But the success of the theme has prompted Taiwan’s Eva Air to add more. The expansion includes special Hello Kitty check-in counters, Hello Kitty shaped foods and the sale of the Japanese famous cartoon merchandise on board.
The Hello Kitty planes will serve cities including Taipei, Fukuoka, Narita, Sapporo, Incheon, Hong Kong and Guam.
