Gunfire ends Kabul siege

Afghan officials say there were at least three explosions in the capital, Kabul, shortly after the visit of U.S. President Barack Obama.

It is said that a car bomb exploded in an area where many Westerners.

Shootings were reported immediately and informed the U.S. embassy was closed.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the blasts.

During his visit, Obama signed an agreement with Afghan President Hamid Karzai met with U.S. troops stationed in Afghanistan and sent a message to the nation.
