There were three siblings from Flordia who went on a crime spree that covered more than one state. They were given their sentences in Colorado where they were captured after a manhunt that went nationwide.
Ryan Dougherty was sentenced to 24 years, Lee Grace Dougherty was sentenced to 24 years and the third sibling Dylan Stanley-Daugherty shot at officers pursuing them and got the maximum 32 years of prison.
They were captured August 10, 2011 in Colorado. The siblings are being extradicted to Georgia .
There was a cross country manhunt after they shot at a Flordia police officer and robbed a Georgia bank.
Lee Grace Dougherty faced up to 28 years in prison because she plead guilty to first degree assault and two counts of menacing in the Colorado case. The judge told her that as the oldest sibling at 29 years old she should have known better.
Lee said "I'd like to say it was a lapse in judgement, but 10 days is not a lapse in judgement. It was bad poor judgement.
The three siblings were going to a Albany Georgia jail for a hearing May 15, 2012.
