Roy Hodgson set to become England Football Manager
Reports show that the English Football Association will hold talks with Croydon born Roy Hodgson to sign on for the managerial position for the 3 Lions, after the 'resignation' of Fabio Capello. Caretaker manager Stuart Pearce will likely continue to head up the U-21 team while leading Team Great Britain out in the London Olympics.
This is a sound decision ahead of the European Championships in Poland & Ukraine and I fully endorse the 'pending' selection. For the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, should England qualify, it may be Roy at the helm or someone like a Jose Mourinho, should developments not meet expectations.
