Texas Chainsaw Massacre

While Discovery Green promotes its Friday Night Fright marathon of "A Haunting" episodes, shows on aliens, and other shows dedicated to the Paranormal, another channel lives up to the fright!

Comcast Subscribers in New Orleans are in for a treat! While, most people including many members of Serial Thrillerz that the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the best, it still doesn't catch the real life aspect of a crime scene like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake starring Jessica Biel.

Jessica Biel is the lead character in the remake and if I remember correctly has to thwart both Leatherface and the sheriff played by R. Lee Emery while keeping herself alive....and not just herself either.

While Marilyn Burns' character suffered loss of her friends, paralyzed brother, and boyfriend which resulted in her becoming stark raving mad, she simply had to survive.

Jessica Biel's character has to also stay safe. Why? Because she finds out near the begining of the movie while singing along to Skynrd's "Sweet Home Alabama," that she's pregnant.

The writer of the remake borrows from the legendary Wes Craven and "The Hills Have Eyes" with Biel's character believing that a baby has been killed.

The reason I am writing about this movie is because it is playing on Comcast Channel "IFC" tonight and most like available on Demand. Not to mention that another horror based movie starring Jessica Biel is playing on TNT at 9 pm CST, "Blade Trinity."
