Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renew marriage vows in Paris!

Singer Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon renewed their marriage vows in a publicized ceremony on April 27, 2012 in Paris, France, enlisting the photographic talents of Pascal Le Segretain to capture the moments for posterity.

For this momentous occasion, the Cannons assumed their positions for the photo-op in front of a French (went all the way down to the floor!) “picture window” – framed like a painting – with the famed Eiffel Tower as the backdrop…

Dressed in a white satin gown with a fishtail skirt and black bow at the waist, Mariah accessorized with diamond drop earrings and a stunning diamond necklace, while husband Nick got down on one knee and held her wedding ring hand, attired in his crisp white suit and black tie. But wait – take a look at those wild teal Argyle socks on Mr. Cannon!

Word has it that Mariah and Nick were also partaking in some “retail therapy” and visiting establishments such as the Baby Dior on Montaigne Avenue as well as Louis Vuitton on the Champs Elysees while passersby and fans took the opportunity to click away with their cameras and mobile phones as the couple obliged them with kisses poses.

Mariah, 42 and Nick, 31, were married on April 30, 2008 – without any public announcement – at Mariah’s private estate on Windemere Island in the Bahamas, after six weeks of dating.

On April 30, 2011, their third wedding anniversary, Mariah Carey gave birth to fraternal twins, daughter “Monroe Cannon,” apparently named for Marilyn Monroe, and son “Moroccan Scott Cannon” since Nick had reportedly proposed to Mariah in her Moroccan-style room and “Scott” is Nick’s middle name as well as his grandmother's maiden name.

Nick Cannon was hospitalized for “mild kidney failure” on January 4, 2012 and was again hospitalized on February 17, 2012 for blood clots in his lungs.

On March 5, 2012 Cannon announced that he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called “lupus nephritis,” which is responsible for his recent kidney problems.
