Minnesota Vikings - Who To Draft With #3 Overall Pick (Kalil, Blackmon, or Claiborne)

4. Matt Kalil - T - USC.

29. Harrison Smith - S - Notre Dame.

The Vikings still ended up with the pick that they wanted when they picked up Matt Kalil, the best offensive lineman in the draft. Plus, they were able to garner four other draft picks in the later rounds. The Vikings will be able to give their roster the overhaul that it needs in order to be successful in the future.

The Vikings had two first round picks because they obtained the Ravens pick in a trade last season. Picking up Smith will bring stability to their woeful secondary.
