George Zimmerman raised $200,000 from a website

Shooter Charged With Florida Teen's Murder

George Zimmerman's supporters raised $200,000 to fund his defense.

In a website “therealgeorgezimmerman.com” able to solicit the amount though the website has been shut down. Zimmerman is accused of murder of teenager Trayvon Martin in Sanford town of Florida but pleaded not guilty and he did it for self defense. He voluntarily surrendered to the police after he is charged with second degree murder to Martin. The incident made a wide protest among the civil rights and a national over in America over the issue of guns, self-defense and race.

Zimmerman was released after posting a $150,000 bail and has been moved to an undisclosed area.
