2012 NFL Mock Draft Series- No. 17- Cincinnati Bengals

#17. Dre Kirkpatrick - CB - Alabama.

#27. Kevin Zeitler - G - Wisconsin.

The Bengals were fortunate enough to have two-first round draft picks this year. They made some very wise choices. At 17, CB Dre Kirkpatrick fell to them. With him at corner, the Bengals will be able to play more man coverage in their sets. That coverage allows for more blitz packages throughout every game.

Grabbing Zeitler is critical to the Bengals' rushing game as they depend on interior rushing from RB Cedric Benson. The Bengals were able to move down from 21 to 27 to fill a need in their offensive line. The apocalypse must be very near because the Bengals have now drafted well two seasons in a row.
